YouTube Video Editor (Real Estate Content)

We’re looking for a long-term YouTube video editor to help edit real estate and lifestyle content focused on the Seattle / Eastside market. This is ongoing work, not a one-time project.

What you’ll edit:
• Long-form YouTube videos (8–30 minutes)
• Short-form clips (YouTube Shorts / Instagram Reels)
• Talking-head videos with b-roll, captions, and clean pacing

Key responsibilities:
• Edit long-form YouTube videos with strong pacing
• Create 2–5 short clips from each video
• Find and source relevant b-roll, photos, and aerial footage for locations discussed (cities, neighborhoods, landmarks, amenities)
• Match visuals to what is being said
• Basic color correction and audio cleanup
• Add simple on-screen text and captions
• Typical turnaround: 48–72 hours

Style:
• Clean, modern YouTube editing
• Educational / real estate YouTube style
• Not cinematic or overproduced

Software:
• Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Canva and/or CapCut experience is a plus

Requirements:
• Portfolio with actual YouTube links
• Strong English comprehension
• Reliable communication
• Demonstrated ability to source b-roll and aerial footage
• Willing to do a paid test edit
• MUST TAKE ON ZOOM CALL IN PERSON VIDEO MEETINGS

Hours & pay:
• 10–20 hours per week to start
• $6–$15 per hour depending on experience
• Opportunity to move to a monthly retainer
