YouTube Shorts: 1-Minute Video Game Story Recaps (Full-Time, Remote)

We’re building a new YouTube channel with one mission: condense an entire video game’s story into a snappy, binge-worthy 60-second short.

From blockbuster releases to indie favorites and cult classics, you’ll create fast-paced story recaps with gameplay footage, captions, music, and AI voiceovers that hook viewers instantly. Think movie recap shorts — but for games.

We’re after someone who lives and breathes video games and knows how to package stories in a way that keeps people watching and wanting more.

This role is for you if you:
-> Actively play and keep up with new and trending games
-> Can break down plots into clear, engaging summaries
-> Know your way around editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, VN, etc.)
-> Understand pacing, captions, and music to maximize watch time

What you’ll be doing:
-> Researching and writing short scripts for game story recaps (with ChatGPT if needed)
-> Editing vertical shorts (TikTok/YouTube Shorts style) with gameplay and AI voiceovers
-> Tracking new releases and trending titles in gaming
-> Collaborating on creative direction and style as the channel grows

Pay and perks:
-> $450–$750/month base pay depending on experience and output
