Video Editor – DaVinci Resolve

NoBrand Creative is a documentary-style video production company based in Indianapolis, Indiana. We produce authentic, story-driven content for healthcare organizations, nonprofits, and agricultural clients across the Midwest. Our work is built around real people, real conversations, and honest storytelling — not scripted promos or flashy production. We're a small, lean operation and we treat our team like partners, not vendors.
The Role
We're looking for a skilled part-time video editor to join our post-production workflow on an ongoing basis. You'll work directly with the founder (that's me) editing interview-based and documentary-style footage into polished final videos. This is a long-term relationship, not a one-off gig. The better you understand our clients and our style, the better the work gets.
What You'll Be Editing

Multi-camera interview and documentary footage
Corporate brand videos for healthcare and agricultural clients
Nonprofit storytelling and fundraising videos
Social media cuts and short-form versions of longer pieces

What You'll Be Doing

Assembling rough cuts from interview and B-roll footage based on my direction
Refining pacing, flow, and narrative structure
Color correction and color grading in DaVinci Resolve
Audio cleanup and basic audio mixing
Exporting deliverables in multiple formats and aspect ratios for different platforms
Communicating proactively about timelines and flagging anything unclear before you start

What We're Looking For

Proficient in DaVinci Resolve — this is non-negotiable
Strong color correction skills, not just basic adjustments
Experience editing interview-driven or documentary-style content (this is the most important thing — show us examples)
A good editorial eye for storytelling, not just technical execution
Reliable, communicative, and self-directed
Comfortable working asynchronously with occasional real-time check-ins
English communication must be clear and confident

Hours and Pay

Part-time, approximately 10-20 hours per week depending on project load
Hours will vary week to week — some weeks lighter, some weeks heavier around project deadlines
Hourly rate, paid weekly or bi-weekly via Wise or PayPal
Rate is negotiable based on experience and portfolio quality
