VA - Website & Social Media

Dunn Edge Financial is a licensed financial services practice focused on retirement planning, protection strategies, and financial literacy education. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Virtual Assistant to own our digital presence — specifically website optimization and social media coordination.
This is a part-time role (10–15 hrs/week) with potential to grow full-time. You will work directly with the founder and have real ownership of deliverables.
Role Title: Virtual Assistant — Website & Social Media
Hours: 10–15 hrs/week (part-time, potential to grow)
Schedule: Flexible — overlap with US Eastern Time preferred
Rate: $5–$8/hr (commensurate with experience)
Start Date: ASAP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Website Optimization

Audit and update content on

for clarity, SEO, and conversion
Ensure all pages load correctly, links work, and CTAs are visible and compelling
Make copy and layout edits using the site's CMS (training provided)
Monitor and report on basic site metrics (traffic, bounce rate, form submissions)

Social Media Coordination

Create and schedule weekly content for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Repurpose existing content into Reels captions, carousels, and posts
Maintain a content calendar aligned with campaigns and financial literacy themes
Engage with comments and DMs in a professional, brand-aligned tone
Track performance metrics and provide a weekly summary

REQUIREMENTS

2+ years experience as a VA, social media manager, or digital marketing assistant
Strong written English — professional, warm, and error-free
Familiarity with Facebook Business Suite, Canva, and scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later)
Basic knowledge of website CMS platforms (WordPress, Wix, or similar)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Able to work independently and meet deadlines without micromanagement

BONUS SKILLS (NOT REQUIRED)

Experience with financial services, insurance, or professional services brands
Familiarity with WhatsApp Business or SMS marketing tools
Basic graphic design or video editing for Reels/short-form content
