US Tax Accountant – Mid to Senior Level (Remote)

Location: Remote
Schedule: Full-Time | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST
Compensation: $2,400–$3,800 USD/month (commensurate with experience and role fit)

We are looking for remote US Tax Professionals to join a growing offshore team supporting US-based accounting firms. Whether you're a seasoned US Tax Manager or an experienced Senior Tax Accountant, we want to hear from you.

This role involves preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining top-notch quality and compliance standards in a fully digital environment. You'll work closely with leadership teams to drive process improvements and client satisfaction.

1. Senior US Tax Accountant ($2,400/month)
- Review individual (1040), business (1120, 1120S), partnership (1065), and trust (1041) returns
- Mentor junior preparers and provide feedback
- Research and resolve complex tax issues
- Use tools like ProConnect, Drake, or Lacerte
- 5+ years US tax experience required
- CPA or equivalent certification required

2. US Tax Manager ($3,800/month)
- Oversee a dual-POD team of tax preparers
- Conduct technical reviews and uphold SOPs
- Lead internal training, review checklists, and process refinements
- Resolve escalated issues and ensure compliance
- 7+ years experience + proven leadership in tax teams
- Active US CPA or EA license required

Candidate Requirements (All Levels):
- Based in the Philippines with a reliable WFH setup
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong attention to detail, technical accuracy, and deadline management
- Highly proficient in cloud-based systems: QuickBooks Online, Excel, Google Workspace
- Bonus: Familiarity with TaxDome, Slack, and remote collaboration tools
