Social Media Virtual Assistant (Part-Time, Long-Term, Flexible Hours)

We’re looking for a Social Media VA who will manage static content (images, graphics, text) across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. No video or group posting required. You’ll help build awareness of our service, engage with followers, and use strategic tagging & hashtagging to reach more people

• Follow a content calendar: create & post static content (graphics, images, quotes, maps, route info) on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok.
• Write captions that encourage comments / questions from followers.
• Use relevant hashtags and location tags in every post, especially cruise/port/LA specific.
• Engage with followers: respond to every comment and message promptly.
• Occasionally do “tag a friend” or “question” style posts to promote sharing.
• Track metrics: comments, shares, reach, etc., and report weekly on which posts are doing better.
• Maintain brand voice, style, and visuals across all posts.
• Help collect or supply images: vehicles, ports, drivers, interiors, etc.

• Minimum 1 year experience with static social media content (Instagram/Facebook/TikTok).
• Strong written English: ability to write engaging captions.
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar).
• Must have own social media account(s) at least 3 years old (required for verification).
• Portfolio or examples of past static posts/graphics created within the past 6 months, showing results.
• Reliable internet connection; able to work remotely with little supervision.
• Organized; meets deadlines; follows instructions/SOPs.

• Sunday (3 hours): Create, design, and schedule all social media posts for the upcoming week on Publer (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). Submit a brief weekly report confirming posts scheduled.
• Monday to Saturday (2 hours daily): Monitor and promptly respond to all comments, direct messages, and tags across all platforms. Use provided templates to contact potential leads, request email/contact info, and log responses.
• Total weekly hours: 15 hours.
• Biweekly 1-hour meeting during regular hours to discuss performance, feedback, and upcoming tasks (counted within 15 hours).

This position includes a 6-month probation period. During this time, performance will be evaluated based on KPIs including content quality, consistency, engagement, and meeting deadlines.
If the VA does not work for 2 consecutive days without prior notice or approval, this will be considered a serious breach of responsibilities. You will be contacted to explain the absence.
• If no valid reason or communication is provided within 24 hours after the second day of absence, the working relationship may be terminated with one week’s notice or payment in lieu of notice.
• The VA will be paid only for actual hours worked according to the agreed schedule (15 hours/week).
• Consistent failure to complete the required hours without prior approval or valid reason will result in prorated payment and may lead to termination.
• Repeated or prolonged unapproved absences may result in immediate termination.
Upon successful completion of the probation period, the role may become permanent with possible review of compensation or responsibilities.

• Payment: Weekly via Zelle, Venmo, or mailed check.
• 🔔 Note: You will be paid only for hours actually worked. If fewer than 15 hours are completed in a given week, payment will be prorated.
