SEO Specialist

We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in Google SEO, on-page and off-page optimization, website SEO strategy, keyword research, and blog posting/content optimization. The ideal candidate understands how to improve search visibility, grow organic traffic, and optimize website content for both users and search engines.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and website traffic

Perform keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities

Optimize website pages, landing pages, and blog content for SEO best practices

Manage on-page SEO including meta titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, image optimization, and URL structure

Conduct regular website SEO audits and recommend fixes for technical issues

Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms

Publish and optimize blog posts on the website, ensuring proper formatting, keyword placement, and SEO structure

Collaborate with content writers, designers, and developers to improve site performance and user experience

Track rankings, traffic, and conversions, then provide regular SEO performance reports

Stay updated on Google algorithm changes, SEO trends, and industry best practices

Qualifications

Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, SEO Manager, or similar role

Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, and Google SEO best practices

Experience with website SEO, technical SEO, and blog/content optimization

Strong understanding of keyword research, backlink strategies, and content planning

Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, Screaming Frog, or similar

Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, Wix, or Webflow

Ability to upload, format, and optimize blog posts for search engines

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret SEO data into actionable improvements

Excellent written English and attention to detail

Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with local SEO

Basic understanding of HTML, schema markup, and website performance optimization

Experience working with service-based businesses, e-commerce websites, or lead generation websites

Knowledge of content marketing and conversion-focused SEO
