Senior video editor

We’re looking for a highly skilled freelance video editor with advanced experience in DaVinci Resolve to join our creative team. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and editing to music, with the ability to craft engaging recap and event videos for galas and high-impact productions.

Responsibilities:
• Edit recap and event videos using DaVinci Resolve (project files must be delivered in Resolve format).
• Cut down existing edits or build new ones based on provided templates and creative direction.
• Sync edits tightly to music, creating strong hooks and emotional pacing.
• Integrate footage, graphics, and sound design into cohesive, polished videos.
• Deliver clean, organized project files ready for review and future revisions.

Requirements:
• Expert-level proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (color, Fusion, Fairlight familiarity a plus).
• Strong storytelling instincts and ability to edit to rhythm and music.
• Experience editing recap, promo, or event highlight videos.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to deliver projects on deadline.
• Bonus: Background in cinematography, motion graphics, or color grading.
