Senior Full Stack Laravel Developer

is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Laravel Developer to help take over and continue development of our growing platform.
We are an online hiring marketplace connecting businesses with Filipino remote workers and virtual assistants. The platform already has over 100,000+ users and is built with Laravel.

This is NOT a beginner role.

We are specifically looking for someone who is comfortable:

- Taking over an existing codebase
- Understanding another developer’s work
- Improving architecture and organization
- Fixing bugs and performance issues
- Building new features
- Helping scale a real platform with active users

You should be proactive, communicative, organized, and able to work independently without constant supervision.

Requirements:

You must have strong experience with:

- Laravel
- PHP
- MySQL
- APIs
- Git / GitHub
- JavaScript
- Full stack web application development
- Debugging and optimizing existing codebases
- Deployment environments (AWS, DigitalOcean, Linux, etc.)
- Queue systems / background jobs
- REST API integrations

Bonus if you also have experience with:

- SaaS platforms
- Scaling web applications
- Payment systems like Stripe
- Email systems like Amazon SES
- Server management / DevOps
- Working with staging and production environments

Important

This role is NOT for someone looking to build simple websites or work on small WordPress projects.

We need someone who can:

- Take ownership
- Communicate clearly
- Solve problems independently
- Continue and improve an existing platform
- Eventually help onboard additional developers
- Strong communication is extremely important for this role.
