Medical Biller for US based Gyn clinic

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Biller to manage insurance claims and reimbursement for our OB/GYN practice. The ideal candidate is experienced with insurance billing workflows, proactive with follow-up, and comfortable working directly with insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate payment of claims.

Key Responsibilities
Submit insurance claims using Elation Health billing software
Monitor claim status and perform timely follow-up on unpaid or delayed claims
Manage and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments
Communicate directly with insurance companies to resolve billing issues and expedite payment
Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile EOBs/ERAs
Ensure claims are accurate, complete, and compliant prior to submission
Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to improve billing efficiency

Qualifications
Minimum 1 years of medical billing experience (OB/GYN or women’s health preferred)
Strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
Familiarity with Elation Health or similar EHR/billing platforms (such as Athena Health, Coreo)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple claims efficiently
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal communication skills
