Junior Post-Production Expert (Lightworks)

Junior Post-Production Expert (Lightworks) — remote, contractor.

This role is specifically for video editors and post-production professionals with real, hands-on Lightworks experience. You'll be helping AI labs understand professional editing workflows by reviewing and validating how AI describes them.

What the work involves:
— Reviewing AI-generated NLE workflow instructions in Lightworks for accuracy
— Auditing multi-cam workflows, VFX routing, and bin management processes
— Checking codec compliance, proxy media workflows, and delivery standards
— Providing clear, expert written feedback that improves AI understanding

Requirements — please read before applying:
✔️ Demonstrated Lightworks expertise in a professional or production environment
✔️ Deep knowledge of keyboard-driven NLE editing and link-based media workflows
✔️ Experience with node-based effects, LUT adjustments, and color grading
✔️ Familiarity with AVID/ProTools interchange, XML/EDL exports, and delivery formats
✔️ Ability to identify subtle technical errors and articulate them clearly in writing

Preferred (not required):
— Experience with the Shark console or advanced multi-cam operations
— Background in evaluating or testing AI-assisted tools in post-production

No AI background required. Your Lightworks expertise and editing experience are what matter.
