We're seeking an Amazon Operation Manager who will implement effective growth strategies, help managing day-to-day operations, hiring staff and ensure optimal ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) and profitability.
Role Summary
As the Amazon Operation Manager, you will oversee one or more Amazon seller/vendor accounts, be responsible for strategic planning, day-to-day operations, campaign management, listing optimization, inventory & health monitoring, performance reporting and delivering growth targets. You’ll assist in hiring a Manila based team (PPC specialists, graphic designers, copy/content, operations, data analysts) as contractors or part-time staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Amazon account(s): day-to-day operations, growth roadmap, strategic planning.
- Develop and execute account growth strategy: new product launches, listing optimization (titles, bullets, A+ content), SEO/organic traffic, sponsored ads (Sponsored Products/Brands/Display), DSP where applicable.
- Assist in hiring new team members in coordination with the owners: you will be the point of contact for the company for the Manila team and will assist in hiring part-time or full-time staff/contractors, freelancers to complete the tasks based on demand.
- Manage other team members and monitor KPIs: manage and monitor other team members and coordinate their efforts to achieve the desired outcomes. creative team for imagery/video, buyer for product research, procurement, and inventory planning, PPC specialist for running and optimizing variety of ads campaigns.
- Plan, run, and optimize PPC campaigns in coordination with the PPC specialist: structure, keyword research, match types, negative keyword strategy, bid optimization, budget allocation, ROI/ROAS modelling.
- Monitor and optimize key performance metrics: ACoS (Advertising Cost of Sales), TACoS (Total Advertising Cost of Sales), ROAS, ad conversion rate, organic sales lift, margin impact.
- Provide detailed reports and insights to: weekly/monthly performance review, actionable recommendations, forecast next period.
- Stay up to date with Amazon policy changes, ad product updates, algorithm changes, marketplace shifts and emerging best practices.
- Identify scaling opportunities while ensuring profitability: when to scale spend, when to pull back, how to optimize conversion vs traffic.
- Serve as an account leader for the company: manage expectations, communicate clearly, act proactively on issues (listing suppressions, account health, negative reviews).
- Work with automation/data tools and dashboards: pull/clean data, identify waste/spend inefficiencies, drive process improvement (e.g., by leveraging no-code automations, data pipelines).
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience managing Amazon seller or vendor accounts (or equivalent e-commerce marketplace experience).
- Strong understanding of Amazon advertising ecosystem: Sponsored Products/Brands/Display, DSP, auto vs manual campaigns, bidding strategies, search term reports.
- Proven ability to improve ROAS/ACoS and profitability for Amazon accounts.
- Excellent analytical skills: ability to interpret data, create actionable insights, optimize campaigns based on performance.
- Experience with Amazon listing optimization: keyword research, SEO, copywriting (titles/bullets/A+), conversion-rate focus.
- Familiarity with Amazon account health, operations, inventory forecasting, and marketplace best practices.
- Comfortable being company-facing: strong communication, presentation skills, managing expectations, building trust. You will be communicating directly with the owners of the company.
- Self-starter, organized, able to manage multiple brands, accounts and projects concurrently.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; experience with dashboards / BI tools a plus.
-Bonus: experience with automation tools, no-code platforms, AI-driven optimization (a growing focus).

- Achieving or exceeding client ROAS/ACoS targets.
- Improvement in organic sales and overall account profitability.
- Reduction in wasted ad spending (negative keywords, inefficient campaigns).

- Timely reporting and proactive account strategy updates.
- Efficient cross-team collaboration and issue resolution (listing suppressions, inventory, reviews, etc.).
